EVOH film:

EVOH has always been the most widely used high barrier material. In addition to the non stretching type, the film type of this material also includes biaxial stretching type, aluminum evaporation type, adhesive coating type, etc. Among the biaxial stretching type, there are heat-resistant types for aseptic packaging products.

In the packaging field, EVOH is made into a composite film intermediate barrier layer, which is used in all hard and soft packaging.

1. High barrier: different plastic materials have different barrier properties. The co extruded film can co extrude plastics with different functions into a film to achieve high barrier effect on oxygen, water, carbon dioxide, smell, etc.

2. Strong functions: oil resistance, moisture resistance, high temperature cooking resistance, low temperature freezing resistance, quality assurance, freshness preservation and odor preservation.

3. High cost: for glass packaging, aluminum foil packaging and other plastic packaging, to achieve the same barrier effect, co extruded film has greater advantages in cost. Due to the simple process, the cost of the film products can be reduced by 20% - 30% compared with the dry composite film and other composite films.

Blowing film (Blow Membrane) is a plastic processing method, which refers to a plastic processing process in which plastic particles are heated and melted and then blown into a film. Usually, the polymer is extruded into a tubular film blank. In the state, the tube film is blown to the required thickness by high-pressure air, and becomes a film after cooling and shaping.

Most PEs are used for blown film processing, general low density PE (LDPE) or linear low density PE (LLDPE) are available. HDPE film grades are generally used where superior stretchability and excellent barrier properties are required. For example, HDPE films are commonly used used in merchandise bags, grocery bags and food packaging. PE film processing generally uses ordinary blown film processing or flat extrusion processing.
